Coronavirus-covid-19 Update

Posted on March 15, 2020 at 8:42 pm

The safety and wellbeing of your children are our top priority. With continued news around coronavirus (COVID-19), I want to personally share the steps we are taking to protect all customers and employees.

  • We are carefully monitoring the situation and following guidance from the World Health Organization, other health authorities, Devon county council & the schools we work with.
  • We’ve always taken the cleanliness of our breakfast, after school and holiday clubs seriously. We know this is more important than ever. Aligned with guidance from health authorities, we are implementing additional measures to clean and disinfect our clubs and ensure all staff and children are washing their hands .
  • Employee wellbeing is also a top priority. We are encouraging team members to follow health authority best practices like frequent hand washing and staying home if they are feeling ill.
  • Daily cleaning for all contact points, club manager will sign children in and out the children to avoid contact from pens.
  • Educating our staff on the necessary steps for prevention both for themselves and for customers
  • To ensure the safety and wellbeing of yourselves and others, we ask that anyone showing the symptoms of coronavirus follows official advice and stays at home for 7 days. For more details please visit https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/.

By taking these actions we are confident that all efforts have been made to present as safe an environment as possible for you, your children and our staff. We will continue to work with local health authorities and will further enhance our operating procedures as required. In line with the latest Government and Health Authority guidance, we continue to operate as usual but will update you if we are advised to close.

If schools do have to enforce closures then credits for sessions booked and paid for during that closure period will be made available to use at a later date.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support, we will continue to update our facebook page www.facebook.com/fishkids and home page of the website

Kind Regards
Dan & Sarah
